This Thursday, Netflix kicks off the Streaming and Social Earnings Season with its Q1’25 results. For the first time, they won’t be reporting subscribers—which might be for the best. Word is, sub growth in January and February was tepid. It makes sense: after their mic-drop Q4 net adds (which they insisted were not explained by the Paul vs Tyson or NFL events), some of those new subs likely had lower intent, and thus higher churn (enough to spike churn noticeably in January).
