Squid Game is massive: Season 2 and Season 1 held the top 2 spots on our Netflix Top 20 Global TV Hits for January of 2025, collectively delivering 1billion viewing hours. No other show has come close to that threshold since we started tracking. Bridgerton delivered 630m Viewing Hours across four seasons including Queen Charlotte last June. And while our ranking is only a year old, take a look at how S2 compares to S1 and other big launches from the last three and a half years:
